vForum APAC 2011 Awards: Full of #virtualisation Promise

September 15, 2011

The Countdown team has just been made aware of the “Best of vForum APAC 2011 Awards”. Deadline for submissions is September 23rd. Here’s a little more on the awards themselves.  These user awards honour organisations in Southeast Asia that have excelled in their approach to virtualisation, cloud computing and IT as a Service. The vForum Awards are similar to TechTarget’s VMworld Europe User Awards in the sense that end users nominate their IT projects. All APAC IT projects are welcome. Like with the VMworld Europe User Awards, vendors can encourage their clients to enter. Full case studies, mentioning a rundown of the technology used, will feature on TechTarget websites following the awards presentations.

The APAC awards span three countries: India, Australia and Singapore. So if you have clients in these regions, please feel free to pass this message on and encourage them to enter their customers.

The presentations will take place at vForums in Mumbai, Sydney and Singapore. A judging panel of TechTarget editors, and industry experts, will review the nominations in each of the three categories. Categories are the same for every country.

  • Innovation Excellence
  • Outstanding Business Value
  • IT As A Service Leadership

Please encourage any end user clients to enter themselves, or encourage vendors to pass this on to their customers, before 23 Sept. Winners will be notified prior to the event and be honoured during the keynote presentations in each country (see nomination forms for dates and details on vForum award presentations).

Here is a nomination form link. This goes through to Mumbai’s awards, but the form has a drop down box option so entrants can pick which country they are entering for.
